compassion = WIN!!!

I have been trying to come up with a way to combine two things I really love for the holiday season, and I think I did it.

It's not some weird mutated food thing like Turduckin or Goulash... Its much better than that!!! Although, nothing beats a kick ass goulash...unless its a kickass meatloaf...WAIT or CHEESECAKE mmmmmmm *drool* I love me some cheese cake...

Oh yes, better combination.

Starting now, through December 15 I am offering comPASSIONate parties. Now, let me just explain this to you... Its a little confusing but I think it kicks ass.

When attending any Passion party that I am hosting, you may receive one of these discounts:

- Bring scarf, mitts or hat for a man woman or child and receive 10% discount off your purchase
- Bring a donation for the foodbank... Now I am not talking one box of Macaroni here, I mean something like this sample ( 1 x betty crocker potatoes, 1 x hamburger helper, Juice boxes, canned fruit, and a bag of raisins) and you will receive 15% off your purchase
- Bring an unwrapped toy and receive 20% discount
- Finally... the displaced youth are overlooked so often this time of the year. It truly is sad to me and YESS means a lot. SO...Bring a bag of toiletries/ nice present for a teen and receive 30% off your purchase.

Now here's the scoop. You can bring in 100 items! (That would totally kick ass and if you did I would probably buy you whatever you wanted from my product list) but that does not mean you are going to get everything you want for free. At 30%, you are getting pretty darned close to receiving my cost on your purchase.  I will give you the highest discount possible for the donations received.

If you bring in 2 scarves... you are still 10% discount total
If you bring in 6 toiletry bags and an unwrapped toy... you are getting ONE 30% discount.

Every order online between now and December 15, I will donate my total commission to the Salvation Army... My kids LOVE putting money in those kettles so lets give em lots of money to do so!!!

Oh and I almost forgot....everyone that donates goes into a draw to win this!!!!

HOLIDAY GREETINGS
 Go from orgasm to "ourgasm." Features We-Vibe 3, Pure Satisfaction, RT G-Spot Creme and Revelation at a special savings, packaged in a reusable gift bag.

Slammed and Point of Retreat + Giveaway!!!

This summer, I turned to my BTB girls for some new books to read. I was introduced to Slammed and Point of Retreat by Colleen Hoover.

Slammed

Layken is an 18 year old woman with the world resting on her shoulders. When her father passes away, her mother must take a job in Ypsilanti to make ends meet. Putting on a brave face for her younger brother, Kel, they make the journey from Texas to Michigan to begin their new lives.

Upon arriving, Kel makes fast friends with Caulder, a boy in the neighborhood and Layken meets Will, his handsome older brother.

When Layken is brutally attacked by a smirking Garden Gnome while retrieving the coffee pot from her jeep wearing Darth Vader house shoes, Will comes to the defense of the gnome but offers Lake first aid. But is it only first aid he's offering?

excerpt:

"He brings his other hand to my cheek and slowly leans forward. I close my eyes and feel his breath draw closer as he pulls me toward him. His lips touch my lips, but barely. He slowly kisses my bottom lip, then my top lip. His lips are cold, and still wet from his drink. I lean in further to return his kiss, but he pulls away when my mouth responds. I open my eyes and he's smiling at me, still holding my face in his hands."

This book captivated me from the first chapter. Julia's advice about dating is advice I hope to pass on to my daughter (when she goes on her first date at the age of 36!!!).

Colleen made me laugh, fall in love, remember my youth (it was a long way back so it took a bit) & full out SOB. I admit it...I wept, while my husband laughed at me for crying over a book and then proceeded to get mad at the tv...silly men, can't keep their emotions in check.

I HIGHLY recommend this book! Beautiful, powerful and captivating!

Point of Retreat

In this second book of the series, we continue to follow Layken, Will, Kel and Caulder.

They all share much more than when we last saw them. The POV has switched to Will for this book and it is a welcomed switch.

We get much more advice from Julia, and even the new little girl in the neighborhood (who also introduces a new colourful word to everyone's vocabulary). IT'S BUTTERFLYING AMAZING!!!!

Will and Layken made a promise to Julia, and they intend to keep it. No matter how hard this promise is to keep or what it takes to keep them strong.

"I butterflying hate cheeseburgers"

I read this book in one sitting as well, and was amazed that Colleen could captivate me a second time.

******NEWSFLASH*******

Guess what?!!!

Autism, doctors and dentists OH MY

My youngest daughter was diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder in June 2011. She was almost 4.

If you have had experience with this disorder you understand just how....interesting it can be.

M has sensory issues, a common trait amongst people with Autism. Hers are oral. Yup Oral sensory issues... This means she will only eat certain foods, drink certain drinks and well, we have just recently established a somewhat scheduled tooth brushing regiment.

She now has cavities. Tooth decay on her bottom molars. Now go ahead and judge if you will, frankly I welcome it. Walk a mile in my shoes before the diagnosis when I was living on 2 hours of sleep, constantly dealing with screaming frustrated child who couldnt communicate and feeling like I was the one that was in need of professional help, then..THEN you can have your opinion heard, until then this is MY story.

M has whitecoat syndrome. She is afraid of ANY doctor, ANY nurse and ANY Technician in scrubs or labcoats. I panic when shes sick...all out anxiety, She's only 5, as strong as a 250lb 6'3" Quarterback and her screams...oh her screams. Im constantly handing out my " my child isnt misbehaving, she has autism" business cards. I get all the tsks, eyerolls and sighs from EVERYONE in clinics. Frankly, its so damned deflating.

Anyhoo, for months I have been looking for a "gentle dentist". When I mention autism they act like she has 4 fricken heads and a chainsaw for a mouth. As soon as I hear the receptionist pause, I know I am NOT going to THAT clinic.

Finally, last Friday I found a dental clinic. I emailed them for an appointment (as that is how it is done with this specific clinic), and within 2 days they booked me an appointment with a pedodontist this coming Monday. I am SO nervous. Not about the work she will need, as I know there is lots of work to come...but I am nervous about the whitecoats.

This weekend I will be printing social stories about trips to the dentist and I will definitely be calling them tomorrow to remind them abput her fear.

Until M can communicate better with us, and have her comprehension level grow, my anxiety should settle, but until then I am a paranoid mama bear who has to cope with autism. Good and bad. Screams, tears, hugs and kisses.

Next time you see a frazzled parent at the grocery store, clinic or in a car and the child is boneless, screaming, crying, shaking, instead of tsking, giving a dirty look or sighing loud enough to offend please PLEASE remember 1 in 88 children are Diagnosed with autism and there is a chance you are witnessing a breakdown of communication or over stimulization. Let the parent know they are doing a good job. Sometimes we need to hear that from total strangers.

Save the Boobies!!!

Let me tell you a little story.

In 2008, it was announced that NKOTB was doing a reunion tour. Yes, thats right...those 5 bad boys from the beantown land. I met some amazing friends online and the night if the concert we hugged for the first time. It was an amazing experience!

We had our little group of friends and decided to form The Etown girls and run for the cure in memory of Elizabeth Wood, Danny's mother who lost her battle in 1999. It was a coooold run. (4C was the high) But we did it.

Just a few short months later, I believe it was January 2010, I recieved a phone call from one of my 'sisters', Krista. They found cancer in her breast. A lumpectomy was performed, but it came down to having to have a bilateral mastectomy at the very young age of 32. We cried together many times that year. I have never told a friend with words that I love them as much as I did that year.

When we walked that year. We walked for Krista. We walked for her daughter, her son and her husband. We walked in the memory of Elizabeth and the hope for a cure. We walked for boobies around the globe. We linked arms and crossed the finishline. We hugged, we cried, we beat the walk.

A couple months later, I found a lump in my right breast. The first person I called was Krista. I was scared. Damn scared. I was booked into my dr within a week and off for an ultrasound at the breast clinic within a month. However, they couldnt give me an answer that day...I had to return in 6 months for a.follow up...sooner if there were changes.

6 months later they determined I had a cyst and I didnt need to go back until I was 40 for my first mammogram.

Breast cancer touches everyone. The patient, their children, their spouse, their parents, their siblings, their friends.

On Oct 1, 14, and 20, 100% of my commissions will be donated to The Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation.
Through October, 10% of party sales and 15% of various product sales will be donated to the CBCF. A new product will be listed on my facebook page www.facebook.com/passionboost with further info.

Happy Down to you release day!!!!

I have finished Michelle Leighton's Down to You! In 5 hours! I fell in love, curled my toes and neglected all forms of anything that resembled housework for 5 hours...Now my home looks like children took over....Oh wait, they kinda did. Hey, in my defence I stopped reading to feed them and take away all sharp objects.

*writers note no children were harmed during the reading of this book* <-----There....that should do it.

Knowing Michelle writes men who make your breath hitch, your pulse race and your fantasies run wild I could NOT wait to dive in....Twins? Wait no...HOT TWINS...perfect. Double the torture. Double the palpatations...increase the risk of an all out asthma attack.

Olivia is your everyday girl. Family and future are important to her, but not nearly as important as avoiding her mothers footsteps.

Enter Cash, sexy club owner and his equally sexy twin Nash, law firm intern. A badboy AND a nice guy?!

A love triangle thats not. A secret, that threatens everything, and a gasping twist that makes you scream more, more, MORE!

This book was MORE than I anticipated. MORE than I expected. And now...I want MORE!

Once again Michelle, I love it. I love you. I want Cash and Nash and bodyshots, and lillies.

If you havent got it yet GO.NOW.AMAZON.GO!

If you could choose...Cash or Nash? And why? But please try to avoid spoilers.

Frisky Friday

Today is the day I am product plugging!!!! We are all adults here, we read, and reread the all encompasing, emotion enhancing, blush inducing novels.

In the book, "The Unidentified Redhead" by Alice Clayton. Our redhead, Grace, is a very lucky gal (and its not because a bird pooped on her, which I've heard as being good luck, but have always wondered how bird poop is lucky).

Grace has been blessed with the luxury of multiple O's! Seriously...13! In one sitting (well...shagging as our Nuts girl would sing)...Some ladies out there have never even experience one big Jspot O, nevermind 13 (Alice...please note I am personally jealous of Gracie and rightfully so! 13 for George sakes!)
The main secret to a JSpot O is FOREPLAY! Manual and Oral stimulation to help make those nerves beg for attention.

Bring a bullet into the picture! Such as Passion Parties very own corded bullet PULSE. This may be small but it packs a punch. Taking AAA batteries as opposed to those expensive watch batteries make it a more economical toy as well (and bullets are FANTASTIC introductory toys).
Item # 1254C
Canadian price is: $38
US price is: $32

Next make sure there is LOTS of Lubrication! Tip: Never use a silicone lubricant with silicone toys...Silicone is cannibalistic...its not pretty. Then apply a GENEROUS dollup of Passion Parties GSPOT CREAM. This product has been featured on TV's THE DOCTORS You will apply it directly to the area that houses (or hides) your Gspot. This product contains L'Argenine which will knock on your GSPOT's forehead and say "stand up tall! You are about to be experienced!!!"
Item #: 2031C
Canadian price is $36
US price is:$28.50

And lastly, Sweet Nuts and Nuts girl can always finish together. Make that more of a reality with the BEST COUPLES TOY that can be worn DURING intercourse!!! Yup it can!!! This toy is inserted into the vagina and hits BOTH clitoris AND Gspot AT THE SAME TIME ( and the crowd goes wild!!!! yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa). Apply the Gspot cream to the larger side (insert it so the word We Vibe is on top)apply some lube to the smaller side (that sits on the clitoris) and press the button until you find the magical setting. Then the male partner will ensure theres lots of lube, and enter the vagina below the larger portion of the we vibe. The motion of intercourse will cause the we vibe to massage the gspot in rythm, both of you will experience the vibration of the toy and there is a really good chance you will reach Simultaneous O's! HOW FLIPPIN FANTASTIC would that be?
Item #1194C
The We Vibe is $130 Canadian and US!

My website is Canadian pricing however, if it doesn't convert to US pricing for you...shoot me an email and I will tell you your actual cost

Really Really Thursday

Firstly, Im writing on my phone. Painstakingly thumb typing to get my thoughts out. It took me an hour to write this post. Looks run together? My stoopid app shows me there are 3 spaces between paragraphs and 2 spaces behind ever period. I can't wait to get my new computer.   Now onto the crazy.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
So my summer started out slow. Business was quiet ( book your passion party today or order online www.passionboost.yourpassionconsultant.com), the weather was warm, my kids were happy school was letting out and I was...well, working at my day job.
I was told about this crazy book. Fifty Shades of Grey by E.L. James. I thought about the hype...saw the SNL skit (hi freakin larious btw) and decided I would borrow it from a friend.  Lo and behold women at my parties were asking how to do some of the stuff in the book... Guess its time to read it. I mean, I can answer about 90% of questions thrown at me in a heartbeat, but I had nothing since I didn't know the story. I hadn't bought a book in AGES (its true...being a mom to two little kids my reading included toilet training guides for autistic children and Dr. Seuss) It was time to spoil myself.
I found the book interesting. I mean, I freakin devoured this book! It was a great study manual for my business. I've since loaned the series to my cousin and haven't seen it in 2 months...If you are reading this Steph...answer my texts I want my books, dammit!
Following the great Fiftyshadesofseclusion 2012, I was hungry....Not for asparagus stalks or Spanish Potatoes, but for books.
I turned to my favorite ladies from the bump (BTB Holla!!!!), and was enlightened with a plethora of naughty!
Thoughtless and Effortless by SC Stephens were fantastic reads. My Kellan Kyle is played by Jared Leto....mmmm Jared Leto, and a guitar, and piercing eyes...and abandoned coffe huts *shiver*
I found a much tweeted book on Twitter ( where did you think I would get tweets???) The Unidentified Redhead by Alice Clayton. Now Alice is Batsht crazy! Seriously! I know, she puts up with me on twitter. Why?I dunno...
If you havent read this series yet GET. ON. IT! You will be reliving your NKOTB obsession (stop denying...), ducking seagulls and falling in love with Sweet Nuts and Nuts Girl. Closet floors will begin to look appealing and solo showers will leave you falling off balance. I recommended it to my bump girls and we all agree, this is a good...no no wait...GREAT read!
I then found another much tweeted about book...by an even more crazy, rick astley dancin, blog pressuring writer Michelle Leighton. (she is the reason for this crazy that is my blog).   She wrote The Wild Ones! Horses, ranch hands, wet tshirts....*fans self* Word has it she has another book coming out on Sunday. Im excited! eeeeeeee *running in circles*
Shortly thereafter, I entered to recieve a copy of POUGHKEEPSIE by Debra Anastasia. HOLY MOTHER OF ALL THINGS PAPER!!! Romance where you least expect it, violence, church...I COULD NOT PUT IT DOWN! One person said she doesn't trust a book with so many vowels...she's crazy...completely over the moon BATSHIT CRAZY...she's the one who wrote the book (and she gives cool swag too).
Im tired. I dont know how these amazing ladies do it. Writing is not easy and yet its easy to get carried away and Im trying to end this prior to going off on a Donnie Wahlberg tangent... Until tomorrow...Stay wit me baby...oh cripes *smh*
Thirsty Thursday
Yes I know its not technically Thursday yet...Yes I am premature *snicker* and apparently immature too. It's my blog and I'll write when I want to!
Now that we have an understanding (We DO have an understanding..right?) I want to have my first ever THIRSTY THURSDAY post *insert fanfare here* (the fanfare in my head sounds like boom chica wow wow).
Over the course of the summer, I began a feast of men. Muscular men, british men, domineering men, intelligent men, ranch hands, actors, singers, billionaires, gangsters, teachers, slam poets, a priest and a homeless man. What a feast it was!
I really enjoyed devouring all of these men. Taking myself to a place I didn't know I would enjoy. That place, you ask  (this is where you ask)..The land of romance, erotica, YA and in the words of one AMAZING writer Funny Smut!
Tomorrow (the real Thursday), I plan on reviewing a couple of these superfantasticalicious (it's a word...I wrote it) books.
Good night, Gracie.
What the blog did I get myself into?
Ahhhh. I did it again.
I was talked into something by my online friends...
The last time that happened was oddly one year ago today when I became an Independent Passion Party Consultant (which I still do and yes, some of my blog posts will be about my business and upcoming events...suck it).
Its been said that sarcasm is the lowest form of wit...It makes me happy to know I have wit...even in the lowest form, its still wit. I'm going to get witty all up in this blog, so buckle your seatbelt. I think Im funny...on occassion.
So to Michelle, Debra and Alice...I welcome you to my crazy. A little batshit....but alot crazy. Dont worry,our membership cards will be made this weekend...then the club is official.
